Cabbage Pancake
Before I start the recipe, let me tell you my kitchen journey on how I
learned to cook.
As I remember when I was a kid, I really
love watching people giving cooking tutorials and watching my mom and brother
when they were cooking for our family but the problem that time even though I
want to help them and try to cook on my own, I still can’t, cause I am still a
little kid, who can’t even reach the kitchen table and still needed a chair for
support.
At that time, I got scolded for
the reason for what if I got hurt by the process of it and be the burden for
them instead of easing the work by helping them in the kitchen, honestly I got
hurt by their word and thinks that am I am really a burden for them? I just
wanted to help them
( oh! If you call me a pebble minded and childish for
easily getting hurt and mad, I am openly accepting your thoughts for me cause I
am really still a child on that time)
but
later on, they talked to me and made me realized that they just love me,
so they are afraid that I’ll get hurt and they told me if I really wanted to
learn cooking I should be taller to reach our kitchen table (let me tell you, they
are such a meanie L L ).
I needed to cut my story for now and let’s go back to my main goal
that was to teach you some dish.
so, Here we go :)
All you need to have:
1/2 Cabbage
1 White onion
1 Green or red bell pepper
1-2 Eggs
Black ground pepper
salt
1 Knorr pork cubes
All-purpose flour
Cornstarch
1/2 Cabbage
1 White onion
1 Green or red bell pepper
1-2 Eggs
Black ground pepper
salt
1 Knorr pork cubes
All-purpose flour
Cornstarch
All you have to do:
1. Wash the
cabbage, green or red bell pepper and white onion then cut it into tiny bit strips and put it into a bowl.
2. Add egg, green or red bell pepper, and the chopped white onion.
3. Put the right
amount of salt, pepper, knorr pork cubes then mix well.
Notes :
- before you mix the pork cube in the vegetable mixture, you need to dissolve it first into the water, so later on it can easily stir well.
4. Add a spoonful
of flour to the bowl, a large spoon of cornstarch; stir evenly to form a
vegetable paste.
5. Heat oil in the pan then pour the vegetable paste into the pan; spread it evenly and wait for 3 minutes until it became a golden brown, it means crunchy and then flipped it over for another three
minutes.
6. Serve and Enjoy :)
